The vertical public space of an urban environment is the space in which most of our social, visual and economic life activities take place. As it is in virtual representation or as in its physical reality. The density and layers of information creates a reality that is very determined but at the same time offers countless entry points and niches that can be used by all human beings. The exhibition “Facades” unites artists from Argentina, Germany and Italy working on ways on how to activate the surfaces of the city. They developed methods that are dealing with possibilities and meanings of the vertical urban space as in: how to interact with it, how to depict it or how to transform it.

Vincent Grunwald was born 1984 in Berlin. Since 1998 active in unauthorized writing art in the public space. He studied fine art from 2006 - 2012 at the University of the Arts Berlin including a year at the National University of the Arts Buenos Aires. In 2008 he coufounded the book publishing house AKV Berlin. Vincent Grunwald is a mixed media artist working in the field of writing and language, critically dealing with the control- and punishment mechanisms of our time. The artist lives and works in Berlin.

Jorge Pomar was formed in the early 2000's between graffiti and rave culture. The exploration of the wall and the city as a surface of enunciation is deployed in the development of large-scale site-specific projects in public and private spaces. His body of work opens a varied materiality that encompasses paintings, textiles, ceramics and printed publications. His projects can be found in more than 20 countries. Jorge Pomar made collaborations with Diego Bianchi, Alberonero, RICAS Estudio, Franco Fasoli, Julia Sbriller, Elian Chali and solo and group exhibitions at Quimera Gallery, MUNAR, Pasto Gallery, ,Museo MARCA in Italy, La Casa Encendida in Spain and Palais de Tokyo in France. He is co-founder of the publishing house Bucle, La Baranda Gallery, Hogar parties and founder of Casa Omar a space for residencies and exhibitions active between 2012 and 2022 in Buenos Aires The artist lives and works in Buenos Aires.

Giacomo Serpani was born 1996 in a small City called Mirano located in the suburb of Mestre (Venice). He has been drawing ever since he can remember. Serpani graduated in painting at the Venice State Art School and then continued his studies in Venice at the iuav University including a year at the Universidad de Bellas Artes of Granada, Spain. He then graduated at the iuav University, Venice in 2019. Giacomo Serpani has been exhibited at Spuma Space for the Arts, Venice and at the Spectrum Project space suported by North Face, Milan The artist lives and works in Milan.
